Some tips I came across (aprt from the most used ones):
1. Smacking your head for not copying that text from the tab you just closed? Press 'Ctrl + Shift + T' to open a closed tab!
2. If you happen to find text like kamathnama.blogspot.com which is not clickable but you want to open it, simple select the text and then drag and drop it onto the tab bar!
3. Pressing 'Alt + Enter' instead of 'Enter' when you type in a URL opens the the site in a new tab.

Wow awesome tips man..
1st tip.. you can always go to History->Recently closed tabs and open the ones you want
the 2nd tip was cool.. dint know about it..
Though I knew about the 3rd tip.. I never use it, usually a ctrl+t and then type in the new url..
I dont have anything to add as I think most of the shortcuts which I use are pretty common (left click+enter being the most favourite)..
I do use a lot of plugins though.. maybe will write a post about it soon..
